Fergie Credits Timberlake For Peas’ Success

World Entertainment News Network reports that Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas is crediting ex-lover Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC for triggering her international success. Fergie cited Timberlake’s vocals on the Peas’ breakthrough single ‘Where Is The Love?’ as bringing the group commercial success. “I don’t take credit for that, ‘Where Is The Love?’ hit a button with people and it had Justin Timberlake on it who was just getting really huge,” she said. “I was more the icing on the cake. It is a bit weird but he’s a doll, a real doll. A really good guy. I had a lot of fun with him. Actually, working with him is great. It wasn’t a long term serious relationship, so there’s no bad history. He’s part of the family.”
