Flex Doubts Gravy’s Shooting Story

Funkmaster Flex tells The New Yorker there’s no verification of a wound to Gravy’s rear, which the upstart rapper claimed he received outside Hot 97’s Hudson St. headquarters in the West Village. “No one has ever really seen the wound,” Flex said. “He was moving his hips up there. I mean, I’d like to see it. I’m sure we all would.” But Gravy responded, “It was hard, because the bullet, it’s hot — like, I don’t know how to describe it. You got to just get shot to understand. … it got so bad, with my pants bleeding, that that’s how they found out.”
