Food First On DMX’s List Out Of Prison
The New York Post reports that after he was released from prison early on good behavior, DMX made his first stop at Copeland’s Restaurant & Reliable Cafeteria on 145th Street, then the rapper/actor hit a barber shop in Harlem for a haircut. DMX (Earl Simmons) was accompanied by Tamara Conniff, co-executive editor of Billboard. “It’s not real,” Simmons complained of today’s hip-hop scene. “No one is saying anything. It’s not rap, it’s crap. There is no soul. I refuse to conform.”
