Fox Won’t Take Latifah’s Place At Top Of ‘Shop’

After reports that Vivica A. Fox was replacing Queen Latifah in the ‘Beauty Shop’ spinoff film from ‘Barbershop 2’, producer Robert Teitel responded to The Chicago Sun-Times. “Totally not true,” laughed Teitel. “They’re two totally different films.” Teitel stressed that as it now stands, his Queen Latifah project is still on track to begin filming in Chicago this spring. Fox’s film, also called ‘Beauty Shop, goes into production in Baltimore October 19th.
