Grandmaster Flash Praises LL Cool J And Nas
Grandmaster Flash is on the cover of Australia’s Beat magazine this week. The founder of the art of DJ’ing was asked which MC’s he was currently feeling. “As far as MC’s making a mark, I would say LL Cool J was the most consistent in history as he has survived decades of change,” he said. “I’m extremely fond of Nas. I like the way Big Brother are swinging their thing in the UK.” As for current DJs, he says, “I respect the X-Ecutioners. I love Roc Raida and Q-Bert. I had a chance to see Dexta last year as we were both in the UK. I was really happy with the way he did things.”
