With Sony picking up Universal Music’s Steven Stoute to be head of Tommy Mottola’s black music division, the likelyhood of Bad Boy moving from Arista to Sony seems suddenly unlikely — given Combs beat the sh** out of Stoute in his own house with a bottle of Champagne a few years back.
