How Did Lil’ Kim Get 5 Mics?
With Lil’ Kim entering prison today to serve 366 days for perjury and conspiracy, The New York Daily News reports that some are questioning the rapper’s 5 mic score in The Source for her latest effort ‘The Naked Truth’. “Everybody knows the only way to get five mics at The Source is to pay for it by taking out an enormous amount of ads or by hooking up with Dave Mays,” joked one music industry insider. Those in the know are pointing at Kim’s manager, Hillary Weston, who has been in a longstanding romantic relationship with Source founder and CEO Dave Mays.
