Ice Cube Feels Proud To Receive MECCA Acting Award
BBC News caught up with Ice Cube at the sixth annual Urbanworld Film Festival, where his latest movie premièred on Saturday. Cube receving the first Minority Entertainment for the Cinematic and Creative Arts (MECCA) award for acting, for “breaking down racial barriers and leading the way for the next generation of minority filmmakers”, before the premiere. “It feels good, I feel real proud,” he said. “I am only 33, I’ve got a lot to do.
