Ice Cube Loves To Have Control Of Music & Movies
Ice Cube spoke with Time magazine about his filmmaking career and his departure from N.W.A. in 1990 in a financial dispute. “The music business toughens your business sense,” Cube says. “Hollywood is a piece of cake compared to the record business.” And as in music, Cube wants to be involved in every aspect of movie making. “I oversee every aspect of filmmaking,” he notes. “I put my two cents into decisions on the artwork, the actors, the wardrobe, the locations.” Read more.
