Sathnam Sanghera of the Financial Times spoke with Lyor Cohen, president of IslandDef Jam records, on his legal battle with Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs and his Bad Boy Records label over the group 112. Asked if he stole the group, Cohen said, “Well it depends on the definition of stealing. I’m a carnivore – I’m not a vegan, I’m a predator. But I don’t do anything illegal. The courts will decide whether I stole them. According to the band, I didn’t.
