Island Def Jam Gobbles Up The Rest Of The Roc
The New York Daily News reports Universal Music’s Island Def Jam has acquired the 50% stake it didn’t already own in Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records. The Roc-A-Fella buyout, valued at about $10 million, gives Island Def Jam complete ownership of a label that includes Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, and Cam’ron.
