Globe magazine reports Destiny’s Child star Beyonce Knowles and boyfriend Jay-Z recnelty rented a limo and filled it with $20,000 worth of toys and McDonald’s gift certificates and drove around the poorest sections of New York’s Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens boroughs handing out the gifts. At one point, Jigga spoke with a woman who said her family was being evicted. Jay met with her landlord and wrote a check for one year’s advance rent – $15,000.
