Jay-Z And Beyonce Take Baby Clothing Seriously

The New York Daily News reports Jay-Z and girlfriend Beyonce Knowles were apparently shopping for clothes for Solange Knowles’ 8-month old boy at the Ralph Lauren Baby store on the upper East Side. A spy says after the saleswoman brought out two tiny pairs of shoes – one pair a cream suede laceup affair and the other brown and white bucks, the Def Jam Recordings CEO pointed to the suede footwear and remarked, “Too casual!”, while shaking his head. “Picking out a [shoe] for a friend’s baby to throw up on,” the spy laughed. “I bit my lip not to laugh. God forbid a baby in his cream suede laceups not match the vibe of the chauffeured Maybach.”
