Jay-Z Helps Out Panjabi MC

Panjabi tells the Associated Press that he was amazed to find out a rapper of Jay-Z’s status wanted to rhyme on his bhangra track ‘Beware of the Boys’. “For the bhangra crowd in the U.K., we don’t even know that anyone outside our community is down with it,” he said. “To think that someone like Jay-Z is going to be bouncing on a bhangra beat, it’s amazing, very groundbreaking. I was amazed he was down with it like that.”
