Jay-Z Negotiating For De Niro’s Triplex

According to The New York Post, Jay-Z is looking to buy Robert De Niro’s TriBeCa triplex. “Jay really wants Bob’s apartment but Bob wants $15 million for the place,” a source said. “It is huge and has a lot of history, but Jay is set at offering $13.5 million. He swears he won’t go a penny higher.” The source laughed that Jay can easily afford the extra $1.5 million especially for the bragging rights of living in De Niro’s pad. A rep for the rapper confirmed negotiations but declined further comment.
