Jay-Z Pays Tribute To Aaliyah At Show On Sunday
Launch.com reports Jay-Z was among those paying tribute to Aaliyah and the eight others killed last August on Sunday (August 25), the one year anniversary of her death. Jay was at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan where he halted his performance of ‘Hard Knock Life’ and asked his crew to dim the stage lights and the fans to hold up lighters as Aaliyah’s ‘Try Again’ played over the speakers. “We love you. We miss y’all,” Jay-Z said after the tribute.
