Jay-Z Says Hip Hop Is The Foundation Of Rap

Jo Whiley of Radio 1 spoke with Jay-Z as the rapper was in London for the show on Wednesday. When asked what’s difference between rap and hip hop, Jay Z said, “Well, rap is more of a business and hip hop is more of an artistic expression. I think hip hop is the root of rap.
