Jay-Z Shows Onstage Charisma In Vegas

Benjamen Purvis of the Las Vegas Weekly reviewed Jay-Z’s concert at Rain in the Desert at Palms on Tuesday (June 8). Purvis gave the show, marred by an ugly fight, 4 stars. He says, “Showmanship is impossibly rare at hip-hop shows, so thank God for Jay-Z. Although he paints himself as a selfish braggart in his songs, he’s one of the most invested performers in rap. There wasn’t a fan in the place that he overlooked as he charismatically paced the stage.”
