Joe Budden Isn’t Ashamed Of Anything He’s Done

While other rappers boast of their kingpin pasts — and avoid any talk of addiction –Joe Budden was an unsuccessful drug dealer, and doesn’t mind saying so. “It was something I wasn’t very good at. There wasn’t too much money in it for me,” Budden tells Carrie Stetler of The Star-Ledger. “But what I’ve been through is not anything I’m ashamed of. I don’t have a crazy dirty closet. I’m not ashamed of anything I’ve done. I don’t condone it, but I’m proud of what I did because it made me who I am.”
