Timberlake said, “I met Eminem for the first time ever [at MTVs Video Music Awards]. We passed each other at Radio City Music Hall and I said, ‘Congratulations on your awards. I really think you deserve them.’ He said, ‘Thanks, man, I appreciate it,’ and gave me five and kept walking. But to me it was like a mutual respect. I’m such a big fan of his. He’s amazing. He’s a storyteller. Nobody will come along like him for another 10 years.” The photos and the quotes at ew.com have since been removed.
