Juvenile spoke with The Associated Press about his new single ‘Get Ya Hustle On’, which urges Katrina victims to motivate in the face of the storm’s upheaval. “I know y’all got shipped away to other parts of the country,” he said. “I know y’all been cheated out of things that y’all feel are owed to y’all. But you don’t have a right to pull a gun on the next person and take it. My point is stop feeling sorry for yourself and start doing things for yourself. OK, the government did nothing for us, everything didn’t go the way we wanted. What you gonna do? Keep crying? Nah. Get a job. Do whatever you do. Get your hustle on.”
