Contributed Anonymously:

Sunday (February 27) was officially Day in the city of Chicago and to celebrate, artists such as Common, Do Or Die, White Boy, Malik Yusef and Bumpy Johnson had a show at the House of Blues to congratulate him. Each artist performed a song of their own, along with a Kanye song. Kanye was watching the show from the balcony. Then they played a tape of other celebritys such as Usher, Omarion, Shaq, P Diddy, Marques Houston and many others all congratulating him getting his own day in his hometown. After that, Kanye was on stage and was presented with the key to the city from Mayor Daley. He talked for a few minutes, just thanking everybody and stuff like that. Then, Common came on stage he did his verse from “Get ‘Em High” and then did his new single, and in the middle of the song, Kanye came out and performed the rest with him. They also did “Jesus Walks” together before Kanye ended the show with Twista’s “Overnight Celebrity” telling his Chicago fans “It feels like you made me a celebrity overnight”. Chi-Town stand up!
