Kanye West Tops 47th Grammy Award Nominations With 10
Kanye West received the most nominations for the 47th annual Grammy Awards with 10, while the late Ray Charles had seven, the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences announced today. Alicia Keys and Usher, who had eight nominations each, are competing with West, Charles and Green Day for Album of the Year. The Black Eyed Peas, Charles, Green Day, Los Lonely Boys and Usher were named for Record of the Year. Songwriters for pieces performed by John Mayer, Keys, West, Tim McGraw and Hoobastank were named for Song of the Year. Read more from Bloomberg.
