Kanye West Will Rough It For Sophomore Album
Kanye West tells USA Today he’s reluctant to give out too many details about plans for his sophomore album, but he says John Legend and Keisha Cole appear on it. Guitarist/singer John Mayer is the only outside artist he worked with. The most important thing, he says, is to keep the down-to-earth spirit he achieved on ‘College Dropout’. “I have to take myself back to when I was in college or high school, when I was living what I consider real life, because this is a fantasy I’m living right now,” says West, who dropped out of art school in Chicago after one year. “I have a couple of songs that talk about some of my new experiences, but really, I make songs to be the voice of the people.” Read more.
