The New York Daily News reports that when Russell Simmons, his Run-DMC brother Rev. Run, movie director Brett Ratner and his girlfriend, Serena Williams decided to hit the theaters with Kid Rock in tow, Simmons suggested that everybody catch the 7:15 showing of ‘Fahrenheit 9/11′. Rock told Simmons no, explaining, “I don’t want to see that, it’s all propaganda.” The comment sparking a prolonged political debate right there on the sidewalk, and prompted Rock to say goodbye. When they exited the theater, Simmons returned to his parked car. On his windshield was a scribbled note: “Vote Bush. Bush Rocks,” apparently written by Kid Rock himself.
