Lil Jon’s Showdown With MTV Producers
The New York Daily News reports that Lil Jon faced off with producers of the MTV Video Music Awards in Miami after his on-stage partner Vivica Fox arrived in a butt-baring outfit. MTV thought “Vivica’s outfit could end up as another Janet Jackson-style ‘wardrobe malfunction,'” says a snitch. “So, 90 minutes before the show, they threatened to evict her from the theater.” When the rapper threatened not to perform, MTV relented and let Vivica dance.
