The New York Daily News reports a sanctioned English Department course devoted to Lil’ Kim’s place in American literature at Syracuse University is being offered, and the rapper will be addressing the class on Wednesday. “It’s about her lyricism and the lyrical persona and how they articulate certain things that gender and sexuality studies have been trying to grapple with,” English Prof. Greg Thomas explained.
