Lil’ Kim’s Tardiness Causes Mob Scene, Cancellation

The New York Daily News reports Lil’ Kim set off a mob scene when she arrived three hours late for a performance at B.B. King Blues Club on Friday. Witnesses say impatient fans who wanted their money back stormed the ticket window. “We had to take some people out the back staircases [to avoid] a huge, dangerous, angry mob” in the lobby, says club manager Gabrielle Brechner. Kim, who was scheduled to arrive at 9 p.m., showed up around 11:45 to find that her show had been canceled. The club refunded more than 400 tickets.
