LL Cool J Doesn’t Jump On Trends

Curtis Ross of The Tampa Tribune chatted with LL Cool J on how he’s been able to stay on top of the hip hop world for all these years. “I just do what I love,” LL says. “I do what comes naturally to me. I don’t try to jump on trends or put out records that sound like whoever’s popular at the time. Hip hop doesn’t change. It’s like boxing … new fighters, same game.
