Missy Elliott, 50 Cent & B2K Lead BET Nominations
Missy Elliott, 50 Cent, and B2K lead the nominations for the 2003 BET Awards, to be handed out June 24th at Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre. Elliott picked up three nods, for best female hip-hop artist, video of the year for ‘Work It,’ and best collaboration with Ludacris and Ms. Jade for ‘Gossip Folks.’ 50 Cent was nominated in the best new artist and best male hip-hop artist categories, and B2K is up for the best group award and video of the year for ‘Girlfriend’. The show airs on Tuesday, June 24th at 9 PM ET/PT on BET.
