Wyclef Jean held a showcase for his new album ‘Preacher’s Son’ at the Hudson Hotel in New York on Tuesday, and he spoke with Radio 1 about a Missy Elliott collaboration on the disc. “Putting Clef and Missy in the studio is just madness… The vibe of the record just comes out, like you don’t know what to expect,” he said. “It could either be incredible or disastrous. Like there’s no middle term, and the vibe of the record, the energy that I was projecting on the guitars and experimenting with the sitar sounds, mixed with the Brooklyn bounce, and then Missy Elliott, definitely came across.”
