Star magazine reports Missy Elliott claims her ex-soldier dad used to freak out all the time when she was a child and beat up her mother Patricia. “From 3 years old, I remember him stomping her in the face with combat boots.” Missy says one day when her father went to work, her mother, aunt, and uncle took everthing out of the house, loaded it on a U-Haul and they moved. “I don’t talk about it in my music,” she said. “But that’s something you never forget.”
