Murder Inc. Cause More Harm Than Good In Sydney
George Palathingal of the Sydney Morning Herald reviewed the Ja Rule and Ashanti show at the Entertainment Centre earlier this month. He writes, “Between tugs on his, ahem, ‘cigar’, [Ja Rule] barks his brutal rhymes, the DJ throwing his switch literally every few seconds to let the brainwashed audience sing in the blanks in recognition. Like the gunshots, which also make reappearances, it’s a continued practice that gets tired very quickly.” He added, “On this night the Murder Inc posse aptly, if unintentionally, did hip-hop’s righteous cause more harm than good.” Read more.
