Musician Seeks Money From Nappy Roots

A St. Louis musician has sued Nappy Roots and Atlantic Records, claiming he never got credit or compensation for a Grammy-nominated song he composed for the group. Attorneys for hip-hop producer Willie Woods, who plays guitar and bass, said he wrote and performed the music for “Po’ Folks,” expecting to receive full credit and compensation.
