Ron Clutch of the Nappy Roots tells Gene Stout of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer that the goal of the group’s new album, ‘Watermelon, Chicken & Gritz,’ was to “feed” the world, at least figuratively. “It’s like a meal,” Clutch said. “We just want to serve the world up. Because we know people are hungry and they’re starving. We were starving. We just want everyone to eat, everybody in the whole world.” Read more.
