Nelly Denies Asking For $20,000 Appearance Fee

Nelly’s personal publicist, Juliette Harris, called The Las Vegas Sun on Thursday to say that her client did not ask for a $20,000 appearance fee to show up at an ‘NBC Radio Music Awards’ afterparty Monday night at Prana (Aladdin), as a club promoter told the paper. She also insisted there never was a deal for him to appear, and that the club was premature in advertising the appearance. Event organizer Marklen Kennedy stood by his story that there was in fact a deal.
