Nelly Fills In For ‘Hip Hop Holiday’

The Boston Herald reports Angie Martinez was a no-show to Jam’n 94.5’s late-night ‘Hip Hop Holiday,’ but they fortunately were able to have Nelly perform a 40-minute freestyle set while the station’s DJ Gee Spin provided random musical beats. Nelly turned the club into Nellyville after Martinez got stuck in weather in New York — he was only supposed to serve as the show’s celebrity host.
