Nelly Tracks More Hard-Edged In Concert

Larry Rodgers of the The Arizona Republic reviewed the and the St. Lunatics performance Thursday night at the Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix. Rodgers says, “Despite the slick production on the new album, songs such as ‘Splurge,’ ‘Pimp Juice’ and the title track received a treatment that was more hard-edged and less melodic in concert. The audience ate up the live sound, which was all the better for dancing. The infectious ‘Hot In Herre’ proved to be the hottest dance tune of the evening.”
