Nelly Tries Not To Stink Up The Joint In ‘Snipes’
Kelly Carter of USA Today chatted with Nelly at a press conference, where he was two hours late. Nelly talked about his film role in ‘Snipes’, which he doesn’t mix his regular job rapping in the movie. “It was something that I felt I didn’t have to do,” he said. “I said, ‘I’m here to act.’ Performing? Hell, I perform every day, one way or another.” Nelly says the first time he watched the film last month, he covered his eyes when he appeared on screen. “I don’t like watching my scenes,” he says. “I’ll watch everybody else and say, ‘Oh, that’s good. Why can’t I be more like that?’ Fortunately, enough people have been like, ‘You did a good job. You did OK.’ I was like, ‘Whew.
