New Edition May Sign With Puffy’s Bad Boy Label

MTV News reports New Edition is in talks with Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs’ Bad Boy Records label to sign a deal. Johnny Gill says that Diddy will in fact be contributing tracks to the group’s 20th anniversary LP, which is slated for release next year. “We’re going to be working with Puffy on the album,” Gill revealed. “He’s helping get the album together. He just came out to several of the shows. He’s such a big fan. I looked around and saw him at a few shows. He said, ‘I saw you guys and, excuse my expression, but y’all got me acting like a bitch. I’m here to take notes’.”
