No Rap Monikers For Joe Budden
Joe Budden recently explained to Launch.com why unlike most rappers he choose to use his real name as a stage name. “My father is Joseph Anthony Budden, Sr. I’m [Joseph Anthony Budden], Jr., and my son is [Joseph Anthony Budden,] III. You know I wasn’t with all the gimmicks and the aliases,” he explained. “In my hood, my name is Mouse, like that’s what everybody in Jersey City knows me as. But when it was time to rap, like I wasn’t going to try to get signed with the name Mouse. When it came down to it, I just was going to go with my real name. If you like me, you like me.”
