Friends of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, who is serving a two- to four-year sentence on drug charges, have been alarmed by his strange and erratic behavior and think that the rapper’s stay on Manhattan Psychiatric Center on Randall’s Island is a good idea. “He was showing signs of schizophrenia,” a source tells the New York Daily News. “He would look up at the sky and say, ‘Yes, I will do what you say.’ He also said the voices had told him to rename himself ‘Big Baby Jesus.’ He was acting like Sybil, and we were getting concerned. All I can say is, poor Dirty, he didn’t need to be in jail. He needed help.”
