Rap acts on television this week include Chris ‘Kid’ Reid, formerly of Kid ‘n Play, who visits ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson’ on Tuesday; Ludacris, who visits ‘Total Request Live’ on Wednesday; Kanye West, who performs on ‘Today’ on Thursday and ‘106 & Park’ on an unspecified date this week; Galactic with Lyrics Born, who perform on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Thursday; Hurricane Chris, who performs on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Friday; hip hop poet Bomani Armah, who appears on ‘106 & Park’ on an unspecified date this week; and on Sunday, the MTV Video Music Awards will feature performances by 50 Cent, Common, Gym Class Heroes, Lil’ Wayne, Soulja Boy, Timbaland and Kanye West, and presenter Eve.
