On TV: Rev Run, Diddy, Kanye, Common
With about every show in reruns this week, rap acts on television for the week are virtually all on Saturday for New Year’s Eve, though on Tuesday, Rev Run of Run-DMC appears on ‘Daily Download’. MTV’s annual New Year’s Eve party from Times Square features performances by Kanye West, Common, and Young Jeezy, and an appearance by Rev Run and his family. New Year’s Eve Live with Regis Philbin (FOX) features Nick Cannon. New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly (NBC) features Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
