Outkast Tops Album Charts, DMX Drops To #7
Billboard.com reports Outkast’s two-CD set ‘Speakerboxxx/The Love Below’ muscled out tough competition from Dave Matthews and Limp Bizkit to bow atop the Billboard 200 album chart, according to Nielsen SoundScan sales data issued Wednesday. The Arista album sold 509,600 copies in the U.S. during the week ended Sept. 28, leading nine albums into the top-20. Obie Trice’s debut ‘Cheers’ entered at No. 5 with 226,000 copies, while last week’s chart-topping album from DMX, ‘Grand Champ’, fell to No. 7 selling 150,000 units.
