Sonia Murray of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution talked with Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and Andre “Dre” Benjamin of OutKast ahead of Friday’s announcement of this year’s Grammy nominees where they admit to being nervous mostly because their album was released too late in 2000 to be considered last year. Andre said, “Selling millions of records and reaching all kinds of people is great. That’s the objective. But the Grammys — that’s your peers. I think everybody would want that. So yeah, of course I hope we hear our names. I hope we call our names!”
