Snoop Dogg On ‘Just Shoot Me’

US Weekly reports Snoop Dogg was spotted getting a PlayStation 2 and games in his trailer when he shot his guest appearance on the season premiere of Just Shoot Me.

Snoop will play the role as himself when David Spade’s character gets fired and works for the rapper as his personal assistant.

Puffy And David Bowie Remake This Is Not America

Megastar is reporting Puffy and David Bowie are working together on a remake of Bowie’s classic This Is Not America.

The new version of the song will be called American Dream, it will be on the soundtrack of the new Denzel Washington starring film Training Day.

Not like it should shock anyone I guess but earlier tonight at the Bumbershoot concert while Mos Def (who was amazing btw) was performing, the guys from Jurassic 5 were in a trailer left of the stage with the lights on/window shades open and I saw Akil and DJ Nu-Mark of the group dragging on a joint. Even though they keep the lyrics clean, these guys ain’t no Will Smith type of group!

Seattle Times Profiles Tonight’s Hip Hop 101 At Bumbershoot

Hip Hop 101 will open the mainstage tonight at the annual Bumbershoot celebration in Seattle. The bands showcase include Dilated Peoples, Jurassic 5 and Mos Def. Snoop Dogg On Late Night TV Next Week

Snoop Dogg and Eastsidaz will appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday, September 4 to perform as musical guests on the show. Jay’s other guests include Jennifer Aniston and Dane Cook.

Snoop Dogg And Ja Rule Charged With Indecency

Snoop Dogg and Ja Rule were charged with using indecent language during performances in Montego Bay in Jamaica for the recent Sumfest music festival.

Since both have returned to the US, summons will be served to their agents in Jamaica.

Snoop Dogg and Ja Rule will be asked to appear in a magistrate’s court in on September 27 to face the profanity charges.

The mother of the late Tupac Shakur, Afeni Shakur,has filed a trademark and copyright infringement lawsuit against rapper Daz Dillinger and his DPG Records for the label’s planned, Makaveli & Dillinger: Don’t Go 2 Sleep. DPG was gearing up to release the EP, which is said to feature previously unreleased songs by Shakur and Dillinger, this Dec. 25.

Ja Rule On Aaliyah: ‘You Don’t Expect People To Really Die That Way’

Ja Rule spoke with on the tragic death of Aaliyah last Saturday as a Cessna she rode in crashed shortly after takeoff in the Bahamas. Ja Rule revealed, “I was in L.A. when it happened. Me and Aaliyah was good friends, you know, I was just with her at BET on 106 And Park, we was there last week together, and you know, you don’t know how to react to sh-t like that cause it’s like it wasn’t her time to go. It’s like a crazy incident, an airplane crash. You don’t expect people to really die that way.”
