Jay-Z announced the dates of his Blueprint Lounge Tour on Friday which will begin September 14 in Columbus, Ohio. Performing with Jay-Z will be Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek and Freeway.
The Scottish Daily Record talked to a Scottish student named Joy McAvoy who met Eminem at the Glasgow’s Gig On The Green event last weekend. She went on to party with Eminem at the city’s Cube nightclub before returning to his hotel.
The 20 year old Joy told the Daily Record, “I wasn’t another girl in another port because we didn’t do anything. We kissed and stuff but I was surprised that he didn’t try to have sex with me. We spent the entire night in his hotel. I was shocked, because I thought he was into all that stuff but he is not a male chauvinist in real life. I would never sleep with anyone on the first date. It wouldn’t matter if he was the most famous person in the whole world.” Joy also revealed the two swapped phone numbers, but it’s likely her big mouth will preclude any further encounters.. if they even happened.
DMX talked of the loss of Aaliyah at following her death in the Bahamas last weekend saying, “Talented, classy, warm, beautiful, compassionate, humble best describes my memories of Aaliyah, a down to earth sister with enough energy to put anyone on a cloud. How unfortunate.”
In addition, R. Kelly label, Jive, issued a statement on his behalf saying, “R. Kelly is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Aaliyah.”

Mathers II goes on to explain how he and Debbie slowly drifted apart and that once they filed for divorce, lawyers handled everything and despite is efforts, he was unable to contact his son.
Eminem was forced to stop his concert in Glasgow after 45 people were injured when he first came onstage. A spokesman for Strathclyde police commended Eminem saying, “Eminem and his band did all they could to help the situation, and we are grateful for his support.”
Slim resumed his concert for the 30,000 fans at the Glasgow’s Gig in the Green festival after the injured were attended to.
