Ludacris Impressed With Mark Wahlberg’s Work Ethic

Ludacris 'Theater Of The Mind'

Ludacris took part in a Q&A with Baylor University’s The Lariat, where the rapper talked about his new film ‘Max Payne’ and working with co-stars Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg, who’ve been in the business a little longer than him. “It was great. I have been in ‘Crash’ and some other movies with A-list actors, so I have had a chance to be around a lot of decent actors,” Luda responded. “I didn’t really get a chance to do anything with Mila Kunis, mostly with Mark. He is just extremely professional – he definitely comes prepared. He is focused, just there to work. And I think he puts everybody in place, where they need to be. So just seeing him work and how dedicated he is was – whew.” Read more.

Ludacris Says ‘Beef’ With T.I. Has Been Resolved

Ludacris 'Theater Of The Mind'

Ludacris talked with RealTalkNY about ending his beef with T.I. “We have been talking under the radar, which nobody would know, for a really, really long time. We was just trying to figure out when would be the right opportunity to just surprise people. So with that being said, you know, we live in Atlanta… Atlanta’s small as hell compared to New York City. There’s a lot of beef in New York, artists don’t see each other and sh**. We got the same circle of friends. You can’t go anywhere without seeing they’re people, our people. It was never what you really consider beef.” Luda added it was more just stuff on records and not a serious issue between the two artists. Watch the comments below the cut. (more…)

Barack Obama Raps Ludacris Over ‘Obama Is Here’ Lyrics

Barack Obama’s campaign spokesman Bill Burton released a statement today blasting Ludacris for the rapper’s verse in his new track ‘Obama Is Here’, where he rapped, “Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant.” Burton said, “As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn’t want his daughters or any children exposed to. This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. While Ludacris is a talented individual he should be ashamed of these lyrics.” Read more. Listen to the track below.
