J-Kwon Located
Co-CEO of Gracie Entertainment, Dorian Washington, issued another statement from the label on Thursday to announce that J-Kwon had been located. The prior day, Gracie had issued a statement that the rapper had been missing for nearly a month. Dorian says:
I am very happy to let everyone know that I personally spoke with J-Kwon today, and he is okay. He’d like to send a sincere apology to his friends and everyone who showed concern this week. He was taking some time to himself as he sometimes does, not realizing that people would start to worry after a while.
A few days out of touch versus a month is quite a difference. Right now he just wants to keep doing what he’s doing, and will be more available for those who care about him. We thank you again for your outreach, and we are relieved to know he’ll be alright.

Label Says J-Kwon Is Missing
J-Kwon’s label Gracie Productions released a statement revealing the ‘Tipsy’ rapper has been missing for nearly a month and is turning to the media to help locate the artist. Label CEO/President Tony Bucher said:
J-Kwon is a big part of the Gracie family, and we are obviously increasingly worried and want to make sure he is OK. We’ve already received thousands of e-mails from fans and supporters who are worried about J-Kwon, and we want everyone to know how much we appreciate the love and support. If anyone has seen J-Kwon or has access to him, please let him know we are worried about him, and to please let us know everything is ok.

Soulja Boy: Kanye West Likes My New Material
Soulja Boy spoke with MTV News on the red carpet of BET’s ‘Rip the Runway’, where he talked about getting props from Kanye West recently for material on his new album ‘The DeAndre Way’. “When I was in the studio, I played him a couple of joints, and then he just said, ‘Damn, he’s really starting to go hard,’” the 19-year-old said. “And I was like, ‘Yeah, you feel me?’ … Out of all the artists to get the go-ahead or the co-sign from, it was Kanye.” Watch it below.

Jermaine Dupri Rates The UK Rappers
Jermaine Dupri visited with Tim Westwood during his 1Xtra show live from Miami Superbowl weekend recently. The rapper talked about the parties he was having for the big weekend, how Westwood is also “Livin’ The Life”, his view on UK rappers Tinie Tempah, Boy Better Know, Wiley and Chipmunk. “It sounds like you have a real music movement going on over there,” JD said. Part two has Tim talking to a local sports talk show host mostly, but they did mention the Janet Jackson Super Bowl breast flash of a few years ago that overshadowed the game, which Jermaine said “would have been nothing” had it happened in London. The third part has Westwood talking about how he’s been ordered by BBC bosses to come back home on Monday, which would’ve meant he had missed the Lil Wayne going away party, with JD convincing him he had to stay in Miami the extra day.
